No CO2 Certification
Angel Backup is certified as a carbon-neutral business by the Carbon Reduction Institute. This means that Angel Backup is subject to regular carbon audits to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions produced from running our business. These emissions are then offset by sourcing Greenhouse Friendly™ certified carbon credits from waste diversion.
Green Power
We have chosen to source the electricity used to run our service from an accredited renewable energy supplier. By choosing green power we have eliminated the carbon emissions that would otherwise have been generated by the burning of fossil fuels.
Green Suppliers
Where possible, we have sought out suppliers with published Carbon Neutralization policies, ensuring that an environmental awareness continues throughout our supply chain.
Tele-working
We encourage our staff to work from home, where and when possible. This not only reduces the carbon impact of commuting, but also allows us to reduce our office space requirement, further reducing our carbon footprint.
Carbon offsetting
Angel Backup recognises that many different factors contribute to an organization’s carbon footprint. Not all of these factors can be directly eliminated. As such, Angel Backup makes regular donations to approved carbon-offset organizations in order to neutralize our remaining carbon output through tree planting, landfill diversion, green energy schemes and similar measures.
